LAFAYETTE STREET

Fayetteville, Arkansas

We elevated a home with a traditional farmhouse style into a modern living space with a California bungalow vibe. We remodeled the kitchen and added our eclectic spin with new finishes and furniture in the open living and dining space, primary bedroom suite, office and den.

CALIFORNIA CALLING

We remodeled the kitchen and added a California eclectic spin throughout the house with furniture and finishes to create a new twist on the traditional farmhouse, featuring refinished light oak herringbone floors, a Calacatta marble wrapped kitchen, fluted island, and lime wash painted primary bedroom and bathroom.

KEEPING IT CLEAN

We extended the Statuario marble up the backsplash to add extra mood and movement to the otherwise warm white space. We streamlined and modernized the space with a simplified range hood and single open shelf, tambour paneling on the island, updated lighting, and unlacquered brass hardware.

SETTING THE MOOD

We transformed a drab extra living space near the primary suite into a cozy destination for sipping after-dinner drinks and listening to records. The rich blue paint color defines the mood and makes the space feel like a big hug at the end of the day. A gallery wall displays pieces collected from and inspired by travel while incorporating the frame TV into the design.

NEUTRAL BUT MAKE IT WARM

We dialed up the organic, textural mood in the primary suite by covering the walls with a limewash paint to give them a plaster-like finish. Curves in the lighting—both the funky bedside sconces and undulating piece overhead—bring movement to the space. We deepened the plaster tone in the primary bathroom with a blush color that draws out the taupey neutral tone from the House of Hackney wallpaper adding a surprise pattern in the toilet room.

INQUIRE

We understand the trust invested in a relationship with a designer. We work with clients in Northwest Arkansas and beyond from concept to completion. We’d love to hear about how we could help bring your vision for your home to life.
