B STREET

Bentonville, Arkansas

Our clients were a late 20s soon-to-be-married couple who had just purchased their first home together with adventurous taste. We created a space inspired by the couple’s experience of private social clubs of London that had the magnetic pull of the best hotel lobbies—a space to linger over a cocktail and conversation with friends before or after an evening out.

LAIDBACK LUXE

From the original art curated on the walls to the vibrant plush furniture that’s comfy yet chic, our goal was to a create a stylish home built for lounging and entertaining. The color palette and intentional shapes draw you in and flow cohesively from room to room. We love the idea of passersby on the sidewalk catching a glimpse of the statement art and light fixtures from the outside and wondering what kind of characters live inside.

DREAMY + PLAYFUL VIBES

Our clients have eclectic taste in art and design and were up to inject color and vintage pieces to create warmth and soul. The colors we added to the home remind us of the tones of sunset. We love the pairing of the deep oxblood and magenta tones of the abstract poppies against the dreamy peach and blue tones of the powder room wallpaper.  The powder room vanity is one of our favorite details in the home. We converted this vintage 1960s Italian dresser into a vanity with an unlacquered brass faucet and honed travertine top. It makes this room feel so much more custom and special.

UNCOMMON LIVING

Part of the client's brief to us was they wanted to incorporate furniture with organic shapes in an unexpected layout. This room is a collection of so many things the client loves—chocolate velvet, honed marble, and playful forms. We started by creating a focal point with the custom Arabescato marble fireplace surround and then layered on classic pieces with unique shapes that are unexpected in a more traditional home. The result is that all of these pieces together feel like a gathering of old friends that now lead different lives but always have fun when they get together. There is an interesting chemistry at work that gives the new construction home soul.

MIDNIGHT MOOD

The vibe of the primary bedroom is definitely a departure from the typical neutral bedroom. We leaned into creating a moody midnight vibe which could be an enveloping escape from the rest of the house. We curated an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary art that adds a subtle electricity against the dark background but still contributes to the dreamlike feel.

INQUIRE

We understand the trust invested in a relationship with a designer. We work with clients in Northwest Arkansas and beyond from concept to completion. We’d love to hear about how we could help bring your vision for your home to life. .
